Walking Dead Comics Hits 100

Robert Kirkman & Charlie Adlard’s epic Walking Dead Comic hits its 100th issue and is slated to becoming the must own comic book issue at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego. There is said to be over 325,000 pre-orders making it the most pre-ordered single issue Justice League #1. Finally, we are introduced to the most notorious of all villains – known to be worse than the zombies themselves; we won’t mention any names or give away any spoilers as it would be so much cooler to pick up a copy (once available) and find out for yourself. After a very successful season 2 on AMC, a few season one characters have been tapped to possibly return for season 3, which is expected to return in the fall. Even though Kirkman’s been around since the 90s, he didn’t make his mark in 2003 with two comics Invincible and Walking Dead. Since then, he’s been a force in the indusry. In addition to finding incredible success with AMC picking up The Walking Dead, Kirkman’s been approached with bringing some of his other work to the big screen.

In addition to Kirkman and Adlard, there will be plenty of other talented comic book writers & artists to meet at the year’s Comic Con.
