@LoginErroronu Are you kidding me, the ipad screen glares way more than e-ink!

average220 May 3, 2010 at 7:42 am

@gillimaster I already did, she kept yapping about e ink

This, along with other similar products such as the iPad, will be screwed if digital touchscreen paper enters the market.

bodryn May 3, 2010 at 8:40 am

Not bad, but how about some color?

LoginErroronu May 3, 2010 at 8:59 am

the ipad is better than this in a way. The screen doesn’t glare as much as this one.

DopeNinjaDK May 3, 2010 at 9:23 am

yeah – paper needs to be a flexible peper-like surface… shut down until you can do that…. actually only apple can pull it off, because they’ve been doing it long before you were born

Should let you write on it and save what You wrote like that you don’t have to carry oaround notebooks anymore this would be my notebook for every calss. That would be awesome=)

radiosnarf May 3, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Yeah, I was going for a sony psr-600, but finally I made up my mind and will wait ’till 2010 for this one, I need a bigger scree since I have a lot of pdfs. The bridgestone reader seems pretty neat too, and it would be color, but it’s going to take much longer for us to see it in stores. Just a little patience…

I actually kinda agree with this.
Being Colored and Wifi would be great.
Tho it might actually already have color, but she just didnt show it.
As for Wifi, that would just be interesting.

Another thing is, will the Newspaper and Magazine download be free?
And how much data can you store in the Digital Paper?
___ ___ ___ ___ ___
And is it possible to find books you already have to store it in?

This looks better than the kindle… I was about to go for kindle but I’ll wait for this.
First no buttons, all is in the touch screen. It’s like a paper page, nothing else.
Extremely tin, that really helps the paper feel. You can just let it lye around your place.
Well the kindle lost my suport the moment they took out the SD slot, and forced you to do everything from their own website.
While with another ereader you can purchase from just about anywhere, and probably amazon too.

radiosnarf May 3, 2010 at 5:03 pm

Yeah maybe, but with the kindle you are married for life to amazon, even when you want a pdf in your kindle you need to send it first to amazon so they give you back a kindle compatible pdf. Also the plasticlogic site says that the QUE will have 3g, and the possibility to read doc, xls, pdf without having to buy them in amazon. Does kindle do that stuff? Certainly not. Besides, if you listened carefully to the video, there is no glass in the QUE reader, that makes it lighter and more resistant
